To use it during a power failure, you have to unscrew the bulb, put an attachment on it, press the button and hang it up. Even though it is not as advertised, I still give it five stars because it recharges, and for how bright it is. But shame on the manufacturer for pretending that it will just turn itself on in the event of a power outage.

I am loving this product sooo much! Doesn’t take up a lot of space so I can put it in the side table while still having room for decor pieces, the lights are great — I can push it almost all the way folded so I don’t wake the kiddos up but still get light to see

Take a good look around your house to find how many lamps you can use these bulbs with. You will want to order one or two more
